Viral Nervous Necrosis (VNN) is a pathogen that often found infecting cantang grouper and causing mass mortality of up to 100% in short time. VNN caused by Nodavirus infection infects the nervous visual systems fish. One prevention efforts against add Dunaliella salina extract which contains -carotene, nephtalene, tetradecane phenol acts as antiviral, anti-microbial anti-inflammatory. The purpose this study was examine potency D. clinical symptoms anatomical pathology after infection. with doses 250, 300, 350 400mg/kg feed added commercial pelleted Stella B2 brand protein content 42%. Feed given measuring 7-9 cm for 10 days maintenance. Furthermore, fish were challenged using much 0.2 ml/head through injection method. Observations observed 96 hours Symptoms infected appear be circling, swimming horizontally, inflation swim bladder, discoloration pectoral fins reddish, swollen lymph organs, yellowing liver darkening body color. compounds can used increase immune response reduce number deaths VNN. addition higher than other could system so its survival (SR) dose increased.
